Atlanta to Launch First Large-scale Light, Music & Art Festival in the USA!
ArtistConnect, a new immersive international festival of bright lights and big ideas will launch in Atlanta, GA April 8-April 19, 2018. The outdoor two-week event will feature live entertainment including 30 large-scale original works of art, plus more than 50 concerts, 100 performances.
The featured artists were selected by a panel of locals from more than 200 entries with artists chosen from across the globe including artists from Canada, Spain, Australia and the United Kingdom. During the day visitors can attend ticketed innovation conference called Define U.
ArtistConnect will feature something for everyone as the city becomes a beacon of lighted art. Attendees can interact with unique lighted art along a 1.2-mile Peachtree St. art walk showcasing light displays and structures, video projections, interactive light installations and strolling performances. Uniquely curated musical performances from classical to alternative will entertain festival attendees on two stages.
Define U, scheduled to take place at the Georgia Convention Center, is an innovation conference that aims to be a catalyst for change by bringing together business innovators, thought-leaders, and change-makers to explore the latest technologies and creative practices that can lead to a more responsible and equitable society.
